If America’s Economy is the best in the world , how come teachers have to buy their classes school supplies ? That’s absolutely ridiculous. Our countries teachers have everything supplied by the Education Department .
If Trump & his Republican Government haven’t got the guts to stand up to NRA members & fix the problems of Mass Shootings & the Banning of Assault Weapons , they hVe No Right to ask or force teachers to become part of the schools Security . Every teacher has it in their heart to try & protect the children in their classes , but shouldn’t have to the work of security & the police . Why are American wages so low if the Economy is supposed to be so Great as Trump keeps telling everyone . I wouldn’t give him $5. to invest for me .

I made the argument in one of these videos that guns should be licensed like cars are licenced. In order to get one, you should have to take a gun safety course, do a number of hours on the range (or at least train with a licensed gun owner like the designated driver with a learner's permit.), and take a test. The only reply I got to that was a person who said that my idea was like a reading test to vote. The fact is, the act of voting is not deadly. The act of talking about candidates is not deadly. Cars, most defiantly are. That is why we license drivers of cars. We have rules of the road to protect our fellow citizens from danger. Guns are definitely deadly. If you do not follow rules with guns, people are going to die. Licencing, testing, and putting rules in place and maybe limiting what kind of weapon you can have will not prevent gun ownership. It will just make it safer.

'Looks like these gun-dealers' puppets are all simply parroting "mental health" this time. But background check would cover mental health evaluation as well; so what is their sorry excuse against it? In fact, all gun owners (and the ones in their household) should be subject to mental health evaluation periodically, because it is something that is not a constant. So that brings up one of the reasons to keep track of gun-owners. The excuses these puppets keep giving are nonsense

Why is it that 20 year old white men are doing these killings?
Is there an epidemic of mental illness in young white men?

Anyway, Joni, if mental illness was important the republicans wouldn’t have written a bill so the mentally ill can purchase guns, and why would trump sign that bill?
Do republicans want every American to experience being shot at, or having a child killed?

Our government has truly become a oligarchy when 89% (294 million of our 330 million) of the American people want something (safety) that 53 members + president don't want to give them. Worse yet, one person (Moscow Mitch) can go against the will of 294 million people by not even taking a vote. Republican Senators are no longer working in the best interests of we the people. America should not have to obey, tolerate or respect THIS SENATE. Therefore, FREEZE THEIR PAY CHECKS, SHUT DOWN ALL PERKS, AND LOCK THEM OUT.
    LET NANCY NEGOTIATE VIA SKYPE.
The Senate is a plague to be wiped out.

Perfect example is the politicians are owned and serve wealthy donors. When up to 90% of Americans support something and one of two political parties oppose it to serve gun manufacturers do not serve the American people and in a way its kind of like treason.

This is why I’m an Outdoor Educator. I was also freaked out when told how to deal with an active shooter for summertime day camps for kids in a wealthy CA city! Politicians are never sincere leaders when receiving $$$ from corporations from any industry but especially from firearm companies, the NRA, etc. Lots of people have mental health issues but not all of them are mass shooters. The 2nd Amendment is racist but ruling in favor of reversing Supreme Court’s decision on Citizens United is needed more importantly.

It’s sad to say but nothing will or can be done in our lifetime. Most of us will be gone before they even agree to talk about it.
Most countries like Canada, England etc. did not allow guns to proliferate
In the first place, so guns never became a problem.
Guns have been part of American culture for centuries and gun ownership is a constitutional right.
Banning assault weapons will help as long as there is a 10 year prison sentence for anyone caught with one.

These are appeals to emotion and appeals to consequence. It is sad that people have lost the ability to think. This is how Hitler conquered his people. It is now how Americans are being conquered.

“The state must declare the child to be the most precious treasure of the people. As long as the government is perceived as working for the benefit of the children, the people will happily endure almost any curtailment of liberty and almost any deprivation.”

    ― Adolf Hitler

“He alone, who owns the youth, gains the future.”

    ― Adolf Hitler

“The receptivity of the masses is very limited, their intelligence is small, but their power of forgetting is enormous. In consequence of these facts, all effective propaganda must be limited to a very few points and must harp on these in slogans until the last member of the public understands what you want him to understand by your slogan.”

    ― Adolf Hitler

Just a polite reminder: every American's right to keep and bear arms is both natural and unalienable. These rights were neither granted by government, nor can they be repealed by government. The highest foundational laws of our nation clearly prohibit government – federal, state and local – from acting in this matter. CONGRESS HAS NO POWER WHATSOEVER to enact any law, no matter how seemingly "reeeeezonable" – if that law even infringes upon our rights. Sorry MSNBC, you're just vomiting propaganda… again.

Dear Mr Melber, Ms Holland and Mr Lupica, Whether you say you can or your can’t you’re right. Henry Ford’s quote could be turned around to say that whether you are right or not right about gun control is fine, because the only thing you can do about it is to be armed or have armed sentries guarding all public gatherings, public places and above all schools. You are right to be out of your minds with fear about the next shooting. But get a weapon that suits you, carry it, get good at using it and then go back to debating. Smart guns should be the next wave of weaponry for US Manufacturers. Yes; guns that cannot go off in places where people gather, or cannot go off against law enforcement officers. Get the manufacturers to develop weapons that are smart, and cannot shoot innocent people in mass shootings. The technology is available. You have an amendment that is bullet-proof that you are up against, and the only way ahead is to join ‘em and get smart guns.

It's interesting that when we go to war it doesn't take a long discussion when we spend billions and billions and billions of dollars on the defense budget it doesn't take a long discussion when we give tax breaks to the rich it doesn't take a long discussion the gun issue has been discussed not just discussed but regulations have been loosened over the last two decades maybe the problem is that we are constantly at War we had Vietnam we had the rocky freedom and we've been at War continuously ever since I'm not sure if it's really called War because I don't think Congress declared a war Golden Wok United States response to pretty much any issue with guns and violence maybe that's just leaked into our culture maybe that's how people to respond to everything now other countries have guns as many as the per capita as the Us and other countries have mental illness in other countries have video games those are not the causes of our our problem in the United States the United States has become a violent country with cars with guns people knives we're just violent look at the rest of the world they have incidents but our whole lifestyle rotates around violence it is not going to be a quick fix but there's stuff they could start doing right now today without any discussion at all the people are speaking to politicians are not listening and paying attention except for the people that support them the NRA the gun companies the people that make all the ammunition the chemical companies that's who they're listening to they aren't listening to the people of the United States there's your first problem

They shout " do something ", well like what? We already have over 30,000 federal gun laws on the books. So what do you want? Simple question.

So that's what a teacher is expected to do on top of everything else? My child, going into 4th grade, has already shown anxiety over school starting, and possibly getting shot there. How can anyone that cares about life (I'm talking to you, pro-lifers!) and our children still crow about their "gun rights"? Here's the answer: they don't care. It's great to talk about abortion to play on the heartstrings, but they don't care at the end of the day. They just feel good for "protesting" and the self-satisfaction they feel while accomplishing nothing.

@ 3:40 … This is a "Talking Point" I have heard many times in the last week, yet it is presented as her (TEACHER, left most person) own opinion… I do not dispute the point but rather it's sincerity; does she actually have "psychologist friends"? — I would not complain but it is a word-for-word exact match of last weeks talking point…. This casts doubt on the whole conversation as staged, but of course this is television and perhaps I am being a bit naive.
