India heads to the polls for 2019 general election | Squawk Box Europe

here's what you need to know ahead of the Indian 2019 election take a look at the shown numbers behind this event starting with the total water base that stands at a hefty nine hundred million of which nearly half that's forty eight percent four hundred thirty million and this is an important number our women historically water turnout has been higher among women than men and hence some say they could influence this year's election result the election will take place over thirty eight days that's over a month we'll with full results being announced on May 23rd constitutionally the new government has to be in part before the end of May so what do we in protagonists of this mega mega election well mainly there – there's a current Prime Minister Narendra Modi of the party Ajanta party he came to power in 2014 with a sweeping majority in a massive anti-incumbency wave he will go head-to-head against Rahul Gandhi leader of the Opposition and the head of the International Congress which suffered a crushing defeat five years ago is that it you may ask well not quite next are the wildcards and the influences there's a rise of a third option for waters the SP BSP Alliance economists poll by Reuters don't see them as a serious threat to the big parties but they could swing warts in the battleground state of Uttar Pradesh and that miss Priyanka Gandhi Rahul Gandhi's younger sister she made her formal entry into party politics in January this year and could be a major influence with women voters this election now what are they fighting for 543 seats are up for grabs in the lower house of the looks of her that's India's Parliament and parties need to head to 72 to claim majority and form a government early opinion polls show that the Congress with its allies will do better than it did in 2014 but that the BJP and its allies that's the NDA will come through with a slim majority to form a government second time around now what does all of this mean for the markets you may wonder but a quick look at historical returns during past election years shows that equity markets have given very strong positive returns provided that the outcome is that of a stable government coalition or not so as we kick start our coverage of the big Indian elections the key question to answer is really will it be a quote for continuity or a vote for change and we will know that only on May 23rd so it's a bit of a wait Jeff but what is May 23rd right when you are dealing with October 31st hi I'm Johanna Versace and thank you for watching you can check out more of our videos by clicking on the boxes on the screen and don't forget to subscribe to our channel for more from CNBC international thank you for watching

Let us analyse this: BJP wins: Terrorism and lawlessness takes a back seat and slowly may get wiped out from this region of Asia. This is likely to spread to the world and benefit the world as people get integrated for development rather than pulling other countries and races down. A win-win situation for everyone and slowly everyone starts experiencing heaven here.

BJP loses: Can we imagine how the terrorists will celebrate? Any politician cannot dare to confront the proxy war used by the terrorists. A daring and logical brain is needed to handle the situation. In today's India and for many more years to come, there is no one who can take the country as well as the rest of the world in this new historical direction. With India, the world loses to violence and the neighboring countries which promote terrorism will also see many killings in their country. Total lawlessness and increase of violence will be seen everywhere. No politician from India will be able to command the respect given to NaMo. And one more opportunity shall not come. We shall not bother about loss of lives as the guilty should be punished.

So no need to bother. Whatever happens either happens for the best or to punish the selfish people who won't let goodness flourish. There is no need to say go to hell. They will see hell here itself.

If you wish to unite Hindu, why not abolish caste system and unite all people under one umbrella, that will be true spirit for Hinduism, the public will surely vote for#Narendra Modi then. because these caste systems divide Hindu and is only root all problem in modern India. Make a slogan call us Hindu don't identify me by caste.
