Fox Judge urges Republicans to impeach Trump in viral speech

Here’s what else is on my radar this week:
the president and the Constitution– AGAIN. In nearly 3 years in office, president Donald
Trump has spend federal dollars not authorized by Congress,
Separated families and incarcerated children at the Texas-Mexico border in defiance of
a federal court order, pulled 1,000 troops out of Syria, ignoring a commitment to allies
and facilitated war against civilians there, and send 2,000 American troops to Saudi Arabia
without a congressional authorization or declaration of war. He has also criminally obstructed a Department
of Justice investigation into him but escaped prosecution because of the intercession of
an attorney general more loyal to him than to the Constitution—the CONSTITUTION. At the outset of his presidency, Trump took
the presidential oath of office promising that he would faithfully execute
his obligation to preserve, protect and defend the Constitution. James Madison, the scrivener of the Constitution,
insisted that the word “faithfully” be in the presidential oath and that the oath
itself be in the Constitution to remind presidents to enforce laws and comply with constitutional
provisions whether they agree with them or not and to immunize the oath from Congressional
alteration. Can the president of the United States lawfully
enforce only the clauses of the Constitution with which he agrees and ignores those with
which he disagrees? In a word: no. The doctrine of the separation of powers,
which is the backbone of the Constitution, states that Congress writes the law, the president
enforces them, and the courts interpret them. It also offers that the government roles of
the three branches cannot be intermingled or traded without undermining the protections
for personal liberty that the separation of powers was intended to secure. If the president could pick and choose which
laws to enforce and which parts of the Constitution to ignore, he effectively would be deciding
what the laws mean– that’s a judicial function – and which laws have vitality and which
do not – that’s a congressional function. President Trump has become known for forceful
and often tasteless banter. He publicly calls people crude names, uses
foul language, and sends dog-whistles of lawless behavior to many of his supporters. All of that is a question of free speech,
personal taste, and political risk. But threats to ignore parts of the Constitution
are not matters of speech, taste or risk. They reveal character traits that question
the president’s fitness for office. This is what it looks like when a Republican
decides to put country over party and not discard every shred of integrity in blind
deference to a corrupt president. And rest assured, Andrew Napolitano, Fox News’
senior judicial analyst, is no Democrat or liberal. In this same profile, Napolitano is actually
asked if he would vote to impeach Trump if he was a Democrat in the House, to which he
responded, “If I could modify your question to ask if there’s a legal basis to argue
high crimes and misdemeanors, then the answer is yes. That’s really beyond dispute … If I were
a Democrat in the House, which I am not and never will be, I would vote to impeach.” And the fact that I even have to qualify his
party affiliation is a testament to just how far the GOP has fallen. That it’s news that a Republican can manage
to admit that, oh I don’t know, extorting a foreign country with legally allocated,
taxpayer funded military assistance for help in an upcoming election is NOT A GOOD THING
BUT A BAD THING goes to show exactly the state that the GOP is in these days. The only problem of course, is that Napolitano
isn’t in Congress, where you would THINK that our elected officials on the right would
have a better sense than ANYONE about what’s right and wrong. And yet they’re so scared of the backlash
that would come from daring to criticize Trump that they would rather be on record DEFENDING
a president extorting a foreign country for personal help in the next election, DEFENDING
a president hiding incriminating summaries of his calls in secure servers, DEFENDING
a president blocking his officials from showing up to testify to Congress in response to legally
binding subpoenas. Republicans are on record pretending – literally,
pretending – that there’s some equivalency between a debunked conspiracy theory about
Joe Biden and Trump’s own ADMITTED criminal behavior with regard to Ukraine. They’ve come out and tried to muddy the
waters with claims that the whistleblower can’t be trusted because he or she is a
partisan, despite not knowing who the whistleblower is; that you can’t have second-hand information
in a whistleblower complaint, even though it’s perfectly acceptable; that impeachment
is unconstitutional, even though it’s in the Constitution; that Adam Schiff personally
counseled the whistleblower, even though he’s never met the whistleblower and it was Intel
Committee staff who CORRECTLY advised the whistleblower to seek legal counsel and file
a complaint with the Intel Community Inspector General; that Democrats were holding secret
impeachment hearings in the basement of the Capitol, even though the entire process is
based on rules passed by REPUBLICANS in 2015; that quid pro quos are perfectly acceptable,
even though they are decidedly not perfectly acceptable. These are the hoops that Republicans are jumping
through to defend the indefensible. These are the ways that they’re debasing
themselves and what they’ve claimed to believe in, all for what? To protect a president who can’t even crack
50% approval? Who has presided over losses in deep red seats
in Kentucky, Virginia, Alabama, Wisconsin, Arizona, Florida, Pennsylvania, New Jersey,
Minnesota, Colorado, Texas, Iowa, Georgia, South Carolina, Illinois, Michigan, Utah,
Kansas, Nevada, Oklahoma, California and New Mexico? Who drove Democrats to the biggest victory
in the House in modern American history during midterms? I get that Trump’s base is with him no matter
what, but is tearing up the Constitution really worth it to appease that 30% of Americans
who couldn’t tell you the first line of the Constitution if their lives depended on
it? Is it really worth it to avoid an angry tweet
in Trump’s twitter feed? So far, the really unfortunate answer, it
that apparently, it is. So rest assured, Trump will continue to break
our laws so long as he knows those charged with passing them won’t have enough of a
collective backbone to speak out. He’ll continue to refer to the emoluments
clause as phony so he can self-deal, he’ll continue to extort and bribe foreign countries
so he can get a leg up in yet another election, he’ll continue to obstruct justice so that
warranted oversight gets shut down. The fact is, if you’re a Republican, you
can either be in favor of the rule of law or you can be in favor of protecting Donald
Trump, but you can’t be in favor of both.

I a lot of his supporters are OK with name calling but that is so out of line with the the speech of any public servant. (Crooked Hilary, pencil neck, sleepy joe, etc…)
The minute I saw him calling Hilary crooked and chant lock her up during the debates I knew something was wrong.
That's OK to disagree or have an opinion about someone but Name calling has no place in public discourse.

Don the Con’s complete disregard for the Constitution of the United States.:

Against First Amendment, Freedom of Speech:

    – "We have to see Bill Gates…We have to talk to them about… closing that Internet up in some way. Somebody will say, ‘Oh freedom of speech, freedom of speech,'” he added, dismissing the objection with an arm wave. “These are foolish people.” – Trump, 12-8-2015

    – "And one of the things I’m going to do…is I’m going to open up our libel laws so when they write purposely negative and horrible and false articles, we can sue them and win lots of money." –2-26-2016

    – “Oh, I love the old days, you know what they used to do (to protesters)? They’d be carried out on a stretcher, folks.” – 2-23-2016

    – Someone posted a clown picture against trump on twitter. Trump tweeted “Whoever made this is getting deported” – 10-18-2019

Against Article 1, Prohibits federal officeholders from receiving anything of value from a foreign state:

    – “I don’t think you people and this phony emoluments clause…” – Trump, 10-21-2019

Against First Amendment, Freedom of Press:

    – "Low news and reporting standards. No verification from me” – 10-5-2017 (Presidents do not get to verify news before it’s reported!)

    – The father of a Muslim soldier has "no right to criticize me" – 7-30-2016

    – "I hate some of these people (reporters), I hate 'em. I would never kill them. I would never do that." Then he decided to reconsider. "Uh, let's see, uh? No, I would never do that”

    – “It is not ‘freedom of the press when newspapers and others are allowed to say and write whatever they want” – 8-14-2016

    – "Why isn't the Senate Intel Committee looking into the fake news networks in OUR country to see why so much of our news is just made up-FAKE!" –10-5-2017

    – A regular attack on free press, “The FAKE NEWS media (failing @nytimes, @NBCNews, @ABC, @CBS, @CNN) is not my enemy, it is the enemy of the American People!” –2-17-2017

    – "We have to start looking for a new News Outlet. Fox isn't working for us anymore!" – 8-28-2019

Against the Freedom of Press and pro-Dictatorship:

    – After Putin praised Trump as "bright and talented" and "the absolute leader of the presidential race," Trump stated Putin is a "great honor" and even shrugged off widespread allegations that the Russian president has ordered the killing of journalists and political dissidents. Trump said: "He's running his country and at least he's a leader, unlike what we have in this country. I think our country does plenty of killing also."

Against the First Amendment’s Religion clauses and the equality dimension of the Due Process Clause of the Fifth Amendment, and against the spirit of the No Religious Test Clause of Article VI:

    – Trump calls for blocking all Muslims, including Muslim-Americans from entering the United States. (Beyond the law, religious discrimination for immigration would be “impossible to administer” and “stupidly play into the hands of extreme Islamic terrorists. “ as stated by Harvard Law Professor Laurence Tribe)

    – Trump stated that he was open to shutting down American mosques, noting he'd have "absolutely no choice" if "some bad things happen" in a mosque. Consequently, if two or three people in a mosque of 500 did "bad things," the entire mosque would be shut down. (An outrageous as closing down a Christian church because a few members committed a crime.)

    Against Fifth Amendment:

    – Trump tried to get the government to use eminent domain to force an elderly woman to sell her home she owned for 30 years so he could put in a parking lot for his casino. (Trump lost in court)

Against Fourth Amendment, against unreasonable searches and seizures:

    – Trump stated that he would set up a database for Muslim-Americans. A reporter asked him: "Is there a difference between requiring Muslims to register and Jews in Nazi Germany?" Trump at first refused to respond, but then told the reporter, "You tell me," and walked away.

    – “I would do stop-and-frisk. I think you have to," Trump said, responding to what he would do to reduce crime in black communities across the nation. "I see what's going on here (Cleveland), I see what's going on in Chicago, I think stop-and-frisk. In New York City it was so incredible, the way it worked." – 9-21-2016

Against Fifth, Eighth and 14th Amendments:

    – Trump states this about waterboarding and worse torture: "I like it a lot. I don't think it's tough enough.” (The heads of the branches of the military state they will not abide by an order from Trump to commit torture. Torture also is in violation of international law.)

Against 14th Amendment, If a child is born on U.S. soil, then that child is a U.S. citizen by virtue of birth.:

    – Trump stated that Rubio is not a "natural-born citizen" because his parents were not citizens when he was born in Miami.

    – "I don't think they have American citizenship," Trump said in reference to the U.S.-born children of undocumented immigrants.

    – Trump said that he plans to sign an executive order ending "birthright citizenship" for the children of non-American citizens who are born on U.S. soil. “Now they're saying I can do it just with an executive order." – Trump, 10-30-2018

    – “We’re looking at that very seriously, birthright citizenship, where you have a baby on our land…the baby is now a U.S. citizen. … It’s frankly ridiculous,” – 8-21-2019

    – Trump said that he plans an executive order ending the practice of bestowing U.S. citizenship onto babies born in the U.S. to non-citizen parents. – 11-4-2018

    Against Eighth Amendment:

    – Trump stated that if president he would have the US military carry out killings of members of terrorist’s families. The heads of the branches of the military state they will not abide by an order from Trump to kill innocent civilians. Trump said “They won’t refuse, they’re not going to refuse me – believe me.”

Against 2nd Amendment Right to Bear Arms:

    – “You know, (the police are) proactive and if they see a person possibly with a gun or they think may have a gun, they will see the person and they’ll look and they’ll take the gun away,” – 9-22-2016

Against 2nd Amendment and the Fourth Amendment against illegal search and seizure:

    – “Take the firearms first, then go to court.” – 2-28-2018

Against 22nd Amendment, no person shall be elected to the office of the President more than twice.:

    – “He's now president for life. President for life,” Trump said of Chinese President Xi Jinping. “No, he's great. And look, he was able to do that. I think it's great. Maybe we'll have to give that a shot someday.” – March 2018. (As well as Xi, Trump has praised several world leaders who have moved to consolidate their power and extend or remove term limits, including Russia’s Vladimir Putin and Turkey’s Tayyip Erdogan.)

    – Someone in the crowd yells “president for life!” Trump responded, “that’s what they’re afraid of, you know.” –7-23-2019

    – “Let me tell you. In six years – or maybe 10 or maybe 14, right? – in six years, when I’m not here…” 8-21-2019

    – “You have no choice but to vote for me.” –8-13-2019

Against Article 2 of the Constitution:

    – "Then I have an Article 2, where I have the right to do whatever I want as president." – Trump, 7-23-2019 (Article 2 does not at all empower a president to do whatever they want.)

    – Trump said "…when I took over the United States." – 9-23-2019

    – Military funding withheld from Ukraine in exchange for help to defeat his 2020 opponent. He intimidated a witness on 9-26-2019, and covered up conversations with Ukraine and others. – Abuse of Power.

To paraphrase the Bible they put their hand on, "You cannot serve two masters, goodness, and greed." I might point out something, when Donald had two Bibles to swear in, he was literally telling us, one Bible isn't assurance enough. Using one Bible is not oath enough. That is a clear warning that his oath carries no weight, which is why he doubled down, literally, to convince you his tongue was not lying.
I have said elsewhere that he has broken all ten commandments. That day was where he took the Name in vain. He swore, invoking the Name of God, and broke the oath. I expect atheists to protest, but I will remind you that Donald chose to have the Bible and make the oath. Even if he had not, he still broke his promise.
That is what appalls me so much: he insists his removal of troops was to keep a promise (so why wasn't it done two years ago), while breaking a promise to Kurds; he insists the wall is to keep a promise, but he broke a promise to troops to get good training and safe housing; in a Government whose stated purpose is to ensure the national defense and promote the general welfare, he has gutted health, food, and survival programs, and withheld FEMA money from areas he did not like (FEMA used to be the Office of Civil Defense ). He has perpetrated many of the same abuses King George III did, relative to taxes, tariffs, abuses by armed agents and other officials, and the ignoring of law, rights, and dignity of the People in sundry places.
The Parliament of Great-Britain put George III in his place, relative to the United States. The Congress Assembled had better do the same to this despot.
[In a strange coincidence, both have the same wattle chins, pouting mouths, and snake eyes; and both showed their most bizarre behavior at age 73.]

Everyone that has watched this video save it in a folder. Cause some time in the near future we will have a Democratic President in the White House. And as soon as your crazy stupid right wing uncle at Thanksgiving starts to spout off that we need to impeach the newly elected president, go ahead and play this video back and show these clowns there inconsistencies. They are going to have to live in the same world as we do. Even though they are in there own alternative universe.

The government is supposed to be for and by the people.. If it were actually flexible we could get things done. Most of you call yourselves progressive, but you clearly aren't. nitpicking over the Small things temp does to raise awareness is just too petty.. More people are involved with politics now because of him. Democrats say that it's racist to build the wall they themselves have been saying is necessary for years.. Mexico needs a border wall just as much if not more than we do.
We're attracting the worlds most horrible people to use their country as a doormat on the way to ours,
meanwhile we're like a bug zapper to their economy,
other than promoting the cartels which screw up their gov. with bribes.
    We take all their breadwinners!
    Drugs pouring in!
Nancy,& Chuck used to want to change this, but now they're too busy playing games!
Sucking the life blood out of a country like a vampire to 1-up some one is disgusting..
Meanwhile Nancy is pulling down $223,500, & there are walls around her giant house.
Dem special interest money in Silicon valley want big money contracts
for a "digital wall" that will need to be updated, and replaced every year.. Screw that scam!
We don't need them having control over our border, when they raise the price and we can't pay up!
A concrete wall is simple, and cheap!
We even have Donald Trump to build it!
Maybe with a wall some of these asylum seekers could get through instead of agents being too busy
endlessly looking for criminals, & lost people scattered all over the desert.
    It would establish standards.
Most people would converge on a typical route to a port of entry.
Safety in numbers while traveling, so their kids don't get abused.
They could point out possible terrorists to our agents.
Once the wall is established, and other countries realize we're taking their people based on merit
they will have to provide those people more incentives to stay.
That will help their economy, because more of the "best" workers will stay,
    that helps the other workers.
Right now companies go to Mexico because it's cheaper.
Those people could unionize if they had some solid people to rally behind, and get better wages.
It's good for all parties involved.

    Also..
Americans are being denied jobs based on status.
The life now for many workers goes some thing like this:

"If you fall off a roof you'll go to the hospital, & police/I.R.S. get involved. If an illegal falls his brothers carry him away, and he's fired before he hits the ground. They'll never tell a soul".
No on should be ok with that.

I appreciate Judge Napolitano for telling of the truth. It is refreshing, even if he is a Republican. More esteemed people of recognized stature and authority that agree with him should speak up and make their feelings known. And, do it now.
